Victory Yachts was born under the philosophy and commitment in building the best fishing boats of Brazil, combining our extensive experience, the best materials available, top quality building processes, and respect towards the environment.
We manufacture fishing boats for an exlcusive group of demanding clients that, like us, are passionate for excellence in navigation, value cutting edge technology, and safety.
Our Background
Both the owners of the boat manufacturer as well as people in charge of the projects, have experience at sea. They all navigate, fish, and dive since a young age. Our team adds up more than 250.000 miles of navigation experience. Counting our client’s experience as well.
Our team is always looking to improve. We are open to suggestions from those who use ours boats on a daily basis in order to keep growing and making our fishing boats better for our clients
2005 - 2006
In April 2005, during Rio de Janeiro’s Boat Show, Eduardo and Edmundo, who both belonged to the sector with nautical accessories stores, talked about their dream of building a fishing boat following American and European standards. Both remembered how they kept tweaking and modifying their boats in order to better suit their needs when they were spear spear fisherman and fisherman.
Based on their experience and continuous research on the cutting edge fishing boats from aroud the world, both friends started to brainstorm ideas for their project.
By July 2005, when they already had a sketch of the project, the company Barracuda Technologies (known for its building processes and technology) invited them to build the prototype LIVE, on the Sao Paulo Boat Show 2005.
The prototype was created during the Sao Paulo Boat Show 2005 and was ready to receive the engines in order to be tested in the water.
In December 2005, Eduardo and Marcio started discussing possible names for the shipyard, such as: “Spigola” (bass in Italian), “Blue Water”, among others. Marcio suggested Victory as a possibility, from the word victorious, and that was how this dream began.
The tests started in February 2006 to July, and after numerous and strict tests, the prototype was approved and the molds started being produced.
During the year 2006, the molds were ready, and the Victory 260 was born!
2007 - 2008
The Victory 260 was launched in April 2007, during the Rio Boat Show, and it was a huge success! People assumed it was a foreign boat because they could not believe it was made in Brazil. Orders started to come right away, and by July 2007, we were delivering the firsts 260 to their anxious new owners.
After the impact that the Victory 260 caused, we started developing a new and more challenging project: the cabin Victory 315. We made sure to keep our same goal, delivering the best fishing boat, but this time for the 30 feet market.
Almost simultaneously, the idea of a first entry boat, the Victory 245 started being developed. With an innovative and sophisticated design, the Victory 245 was built LIVE on the Sao Paulo Boat Show 2008. The prototype was ready.
The first tests in the water began at in January 2009.
2009 - 2010
We tested the Victory 245 prototype during the first semester 2009. The first orders started coming, so we were forced to slow down the Victory 315 project in order to focus on the Victory 245.
The prototype of the Victory 245 was approved by the 3rd quarter 2009. The molds were ready by May 2010 and the first 245 boats were delivered with 90 HP engines. By the end of 2010, 5 Victory 245 were in the hands of their proud new owners.
Since then, we continue to innovate and create new fishing boats that break parameters and uphold to the highest quality standards.
